Acquire a 2020 Swedish original biometric passport equipped with an embedded chip. This document consists of 34 pages and is valid for a duration of five years. Swedish citizens are issued these passports to facilitate international travel. Besides serving as proof of Swedish citizenship, they also simplify the process of receiving assistance from Swedish consular officials abroad or from other EU countries when a Swedish consulate is unavailable (as all Swedish citizens are also citizens of the EU).

The new biometric passport from Sweden, referred to as the Svenskt pass in Swedish, includes a digital photograph, personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and expiration date.
