Description
Five-pound prop money is available for purchase here. The new five-pound note was introduced on September 13, 2016, and can now be acquired from the Bank of Britain. This note is crafted from polymer and features a portrait of Winston Churchill on the front, with an image of Big Ben on the reverse. The new five-pound note is part of a series of banknotes that will be released over the coming years, ultimately replacing all existing paper notes in circulation. Other notes in this series include the ten-pound note, which will depict Jane Austen, and the twenty-pound note, which will feature JMW Turner. REALISTIC PROP MONEY FOR THE FIVE-POUND NOTE The pound note serves as the primary currency of the United Kingdom. It has been in circulation since 1694, making it the oldest currency denomination currently in use in the UK. The pound note is legal tender for amounts up to £50. THE NEW FIVE-POUND NOTE The new five-pound note prop money is now accessible to the public. The design of this note was unveiled on the Bank of Britain’s website on May 16, 2016. This note will be printed on paper that is 15% smaller than the previous five-pound note and will feature a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front, along with a tactile element to assist individuals who are blind or partially sighted. Additionally, the banknote includes a hologram of the Queen’s head, which transforms into a 3D image of Big Ben when the note is tilted. The £5 note is the first denomination to undergo redesign since 2010, when the £10 note was introduced. OLD FIVE-POUND NOTE The old five-pound note prop money is no longer in circulation and has been replaced by the new five-pound note. The previous note was first issued in 1990 and was withdrawn from circulation on April 30, 2018. The final date to exchange old five-pound notes for the new version was May 5, 2018.
